(in conjunction with the 4th Asian Space Conference)

The Formosat-3/COSMIC (F3/C) Annual Science Meeting is the main international forum for scientific discussions and interactions among the practitioners of the F3/C space mission and the related sciences. Researchers, engineers, educators, space services and other interested scholars are invited to participate. F3/C mission was launched in April of 2006, consisting of 6 mini-satellites conducting space-borne GPS radio occultation of atmospheric and ionospheric sounding observations numbering up to ~2000 per day (see http:// www.nspo.org.tw). The annual meeting calls for papers on (but not restricted to) radio occultation sounding techniques, observational data analysis, numerical modeling and assimilation, and various applications of both space-borne and ground-based GPS techniques and related space geodesy/gravity measurements, as well as future prospects of GNSS development and new mission concepts. The meeting is co-sponsored by the National Space Organization (NSPO) in Taiwan and the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) in USA, and organized by the GPS Scientific Applications Research Center (GPS-ARC) of the National Central University in Taiwan.
Follow-up announcements and circulars will continue to be posted at http://www.formosat3.ncu.edu.tw.
